Traffic Coordinator/Project Manager (P/T)

Summary

We are seeking a part-time Traffic Coordinator/Project Manager in the Baltimore area to work at Redstart Creative, a branding and marketing agency that focuses mainly on non-profit and women-owned organizations.

The Traffic Coordinator/Project Manager plays an integral role within the Redstart Creative team managing project schedules. The Traffic Coordinator will support the job initiation process, workflow and scheduling of job requests for print and digital projects. This person will work with print and digital team members to provide traffic and project management support within the Redstart Creative team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communicate key dates, action items and updates with team members and
    internal clients to ensure timely delivery of projects to maximize efficiency and
    quality of work on a daily basis.
  • Route/Traffic projects between project management, production and creative to
    meet established deadlines.
  • Collaborate with project managers to keep workflow moving smoothly from
    planning, execution and delivery.
  • Support a positive communication process and workflow between departments.
  • Partner with project managers and their teams to ensure key due dates are met
    and project delivers on time, in the most efficient manner.
  • Distribute production schedules by email and/or hardcopy, to key team members
    on a weekly basis.
  • Closeout job requests within the project management system.

To be the best fit for this job, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business
    Management, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years project management experience with the ability to manage
    multiple projects from initiation through completion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of creative development and projects across a variety of
    media.
  • Experience managing integrated projects, timelines and resources using project
    management software.
  • Experience in social media, digital marketing, or public relations is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to interact and build strong
    relationships with clients, team members and subordinates.
  • Excellent writing skills; must have the ability to write professionally on
    diverse topics.
  • Must work well under pressure, prioritizing projects according to changing
    deadlines.

Digital Strategist – Social and Email (F/T)

Summary

We are seeking a full-time Digital Strategist -Social & Email in the Baltimore area to work at Redstart Creative, a branding and marketing agency that focuses mainly on non-profit and women-owned organizations.

The Digital Strategist – Social & Email, will be responsible for the successful management of digital strategy for client brands. This includes website content (aka blogs), email and social media. The role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, and a progressive thinker who can connect digital to all other aspects of a client business and communicate effectively with the internal team. Our strategist will be responsible for achieving the client’s strategic brand and business objectives by working with clients to provide them with guidance and working with the internal team to achieve execution of strategies. He or she will be responsible for client contact, organizing information shared by and with the client, and ensuring a seamless delivery of all work to the client.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops unique digital strategies and content strategy (including content
    calendaring) using all necessary tools (i.e. website, emails, social media and
    blogs).
  • Monitors Google Analytics, Social Analytics and SEO.
  • Fosters timeline development and monitors progress while remaining deadline
    driven.
  • Remain up-to-date with clients’ industries and proactively recommend new
    campaigns.
  • Craft succinct, compelling posts for social media sites including Twitter,
    Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Engaging directly with our clients’ followers on social media.
  • Managing and maintaining clients’ presence on social media sites.
  • Communicating with clients via email and phone.
  • Liaise with Marketing, Sales, Design and Content Teams to optimize customer
    experience and ensure brand consistency.
  • Management of website (WordPress CMS), social media (Facebook, Instagram,
    LinkedIn, etc.) and email marketing campaigns.
  • Develop digital strategies for clients, to include some content writing.
  • Proactively keep abreast of assigned clients’ marketing and media plans, and
    provides technological solutions, including rich media, site optimization,
    promotional ideas, mobile, social networks, viral, etc.
  • Writing informative, intelligent blog posts on a wide range of topics.
  • Write communication briefs and oversees analytics reporting, ensuring that
    creative and media are effectively integrated.

To be the best fit for this job, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Mass
    Communications, or related field.
  • Proven track record and 5+ years’ experience in digital design/strategies and
    social media, preferably as a Digital Marketing Strategist or Manager.
  • Experience in social media, digital marketing, or public relations is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to interact and build strong
    relationships with clients, team members and subordinates.
  • Excellent writing skills; must have the ability to write professionally on
    diverse topics.
  • Broad understanding of social media. Must possess a working
    knowledge of social media terminology and networks.
  • Strong project management skills and team-oriented with the ability to

Graphic Designer (P/T)

Summary

We are seeking a part-time Graphic Designer in the Baltimore area to work at Redstart Creative, a branding and marketing agency that focuses mainly on non-profit and women-owned organizations. This is a part-time, hourly position approximately 15-20 hours a week, with the possibility for increased hours.

The Graphic Designer will conceive and implement visual marketing programs that range from print media to digital presentations.  The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing engaging collateral for our clients that tell a story and elicit an emotional response from readers. This position works in conjunction with the Creative Director to develop creative concepts on new projects.  The Graphic Designer will attend, in person, all client meetings and on occasion, deliver and present creative concepts to the client.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Interview clients and create content assets.
  • Interpret clients’ vision and execute a tangible and deliverable product.
  • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
  • Use computer software to generate new images.
  • Attend and participate in kick-off meetings; present client information, contribute to the development of plans and the launch of the project.
  • Aid in the development of solid trusting relationships with clients.
  • Establish schedules on both long and short-term projects; meet deadlines.

To be the best fit for this job, you will need:

  • A thorough understanding of art, copy and layout; experience using design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, In-Design, and Photoshop is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Art, Design, Graphic Design or related field; MFA preferred, but not required.
  • Proven track record and 3+ years’ experience in design field as a Graphic Designer.
  • An online portfolio that demonstrates strong visual design skills and experience creating rich media.
  • Strong project management skills and team-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Expert level experience in Adobe Design Suite.
  • Experience designing for social media channels.
