Digital Director/Strategist Social & Email

Redstart Creative is seeking an experienced Digital Director/Strategist – Social and Email. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful management of digital strategy for client brands. This includes websites, website content (blogs), email and social media. The role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, and a progressive thinker who can connect digital to all other aspects of a client business and communicate effectively with the internal team. You will be responsible for achieving the client’s strategic brand and business objectives by working with clients to provide them with guidance and working with the internal team to achieve execution of strategies. You will be responsible for client contact, organizing information shared by and with the client, and ensuring a seamless delivery of all work to the client.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develops unique digital marketing strategies and content strategy (including content calendaring) using all necessary tools (i.e. website, emails, social media and blogs).
  • Monitors Google Analytics, Social Analytics and SEO.
  • Fosters timeline development and monitors progress while remaining deadline driven.
  • Remain up-to-date with clients’ industries and proactively recommend new campaigns.
  • Craft succinct, compelling posts for social media sales including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Liaise with Marketing, Sales, Design and Content Teams to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency.
  • Oversee website (WordPress CMS), social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and email marketing campaigns of Redstart Creative.
    Proactively keep abreast of assigned clients’ marketing and media plans, and provides technological solutions, including rich media, site optimization, promotional ideas, mobile, social networks, viral, etc.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Advertising or related field.
  • Proven track record and 8+ years’ experience in digital marketing, preferably as a Digital Marketing Strategist or Manager.
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to interact and build strong relationships with clients, team members and subordinates.
  • Strong project management skills and team-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability with SEO/SEM and CRM software, web and social media analytical tools, and business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.); knowledge of web design and HTML.
  • Basic graphic design skills with InDesign or Illustrator for occasional print marketing materials or social graphics.
  • Advanced business skills to include: business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

Virtual and In-Person Assistant

Redstart Creative is seeking a Virtual & In-Person Assistant to provide personalized administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner. You will work on a one-to-one basis on a variety of tasks related to the manager’s working and personal life. This role supports the CEO/COO in her daily professional and/or personal life so that she may focus on high-level tasks. The duties for this role vary, but typically include tasks like screening phone calls, responding to emails, handling the mail, scheduling appointments, arranging travel, preparing documents and event reservations.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Daily email management; review and draft responses. Alert the CEO/COO on immediate needs.
  • Manage calendar; adding meetings outside of acuity available.
  • Record and track mileage for CEO/CCO; submit mileage timely to bookkeeper.
  • Responsible for all reservations (lunches and dinners) for team members, clients and CEO/COO. Reservations will also include travel.
  • Coordinate team party set-up at the country club (same venue, twice per year); includes designing the invite and selecting menu.
  • Manage speaking calendar; submit for speaking engagements and podcast.
  • Social media tasks to include: converting Facebook Live to YouTube and subsequently post to website.
  • Pinterest management; add portfolio samples and case studies.
  • Filing, scanning and routing documents and overseeing daily/weekly mail.

The successful candidate will have:

  • High School Degree or GED; some college preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years administrative experience with the ability to handle several tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in social media, digital marketing, or public relations is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to interact and build strong relationships with clients, team members and subordinates.
  • Excellent writing skills; must have the ability to write professionally.
  • Must work well under pressure, prioritizing projects according to changing deadlines and be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team player.

Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to work in office one (1) day per week for at least 2 hours.
  • Capability for telecommuting the remainder of the work week, with the expectation that the job is done.
