About the Program
In 2014 Redstart Creative launched the inaugural year for its Jumpstart for Non-Profits program. We will be selecting one new (1-3 years old) non-profit to be awarded pro-bono services for our Freshstart Branding package which includes – brand message, logo and website. The Jumpstart Program runs every other year.
The goal of Redstart has always been to help those who are doing good things. The Jumpstart program will be helping one new organization (501c3) per year who is working for positive change in their community. We will help them build a brand and online presence that will increase community recognition and allow them to make a big impact.
The recipient will be selected based upon clarity of mission, level of potential impact and need. The applications will be reviewed by the Redstart Creative team and finalists will be interviewed in person. Qualified applicants who do not receive the award will be referred to other potential pro-bono partners when possible. (Please notify Redstart Creative if you do not want to be referred.)

Pro-Bono Design Award:
The recipient of the Jumpstart for Non-Profits will be awarded pro-bono branding services.*
Message development includes:
-An initial discovery meeting
-One-on-one meetings (1-1.5 hours each) to discuss steps of the STORY process
-One-on-one interviews with customers and/or stakeholders
-An objective review of competitor’s story/messaging strategies
-Your company’s new story
-Implementation of new website content
Logo development includes:
Before the process begins a client completes the logo questionnaire and sends back to Redstart. Then there is an initial meeting (approximately 1 hour) to review the client’s answers and the direction for the logo.
Round 1 – Present 3-4 black and white options
8.0 (includes one hour of client consultation)
Client selects 2-3 for color treatments
Round 2 – Present 2-3 with color
Client picks 1 logo for final edits
Round 3 – Final logo initial presentation
Client requests minor edits to selected logo.
Round 4 – Final logo presented for approval
Client approves final logo.

Website development includes:
-Planning & Exploration – discuss functionality, user experience & site architecture
-Design & Development – select theme for website, design home & interior pages, develop the site
-Program for the WordPress Platform (Home page and 2 interior templates)
-Setup of up to 10 pages of client provided content
-Training for staff on the WordPress platform
